A Houston Neighborhoods Guide: The Ones I Know Like The Back Of My Hand

Every neighborhood has a personality. Here's a look at the ones I spend the most time in.

The Heights

Historic homes, tree-lined streets, local favorites and an unmistakable neighborhood feel, all just minutes from Downtown.

Oak Forest

Houston is bigger than this list.

Garden Oaks

Known for its mature trees, generous lots and established residential character, Garden Oaks feels tucked away while staying close to the heart of Houston.

Classic ranch homes meet newer construction in this laid-back, leafy neighborhood with parks, trails and plenty of local favorites nearby.

Montrose

EaDo

Washington Corridor + Rice Military

Eclectic, creative and unmistakably Houston, Montrose blends historic homes, art, culture, restaurants and some of the city’s most interesting architecture.

Colorful, energetic and just east of Downtown, EaDo mixes murals and industrial character with dining, entertainment and major Houston sports venues.

Urban living with easy access to Memorial Park, Rice Military and the Washington Corridor put restaurants, nightlife, green space and central Houston within easy reach.

Looking Somewhere Else?

These are a few of the neighborhoods I know and love, but my work takes me throughout Greater Houston. If you have another area in mind, tell me where you’re thinking about making a move and we’ll start there.
